We are still waiting for our little baby girl to get here. I went to the hospital last Sunday to get induced. I wasn't very informed about the risk of a c section before hand. So when i was at the hospital they started me on some gels that help soften your cervix and get you ready for labor. I had the gel placed three times and it soften my cervix a little but i still didn't want to get induced and put on pitocin if my body wasn't ready yet so we went home. I had another doctors appointment and while i was there the Dr. stripped my membranes. I am dilated to a 2 and 60% effaced so hopefully it wont be to long until i go into labor!

oh my gosh!! i cannot believe that happened to you! i would be so mad! good thing you decided to go home. she will be here before you know it. people kept saying that to me but it still was not early enough! hope you are doing okay :)let me know if you need anything.
ReplyDeleteI know how that feels! I was induced with both my girls. Makayla didn't want to come the first day of induction, she definitely came the 2nd day though. Guess she wanted to be a Halloween baby, instead of just having a regular birthday! Natalie came a lot easier. The first baby is a just a little shy that's all. Good luck!
